Connected innovation for sustainable agriculture
Drawing on the legacy of our ancestors who worked the land and mindful of today’s environmental challenges, we are committed to contributing to the development of sustainable, environmentally friendly agriculture. Based in Nantes since our founding in 2010, we are developing French expertise in embedded electronics and artificial intelligence to address the agricultural challenges of our time.
Why choose us?
French expertise
Advansee draws on French expertise and agricultural experience to develop innovative, effective, and sustainable solutions. Since its founding, the company has been helping farmers optimize the use of crop protection products, while co-developing its solutions with its customers and partners, and training and recruiting local talent from engineering schools.
High-quality support
Advansee and BRC support their clients from project definition through to industrialization, including prototype design and field testing. Our solutions combine online monitoring, a hotline for device adjustments, financing options, and the integration of complementary products (pheromones, beneficial insects, non-chemical solutions) to provide farmers with effective, flexible, and tailored tools for reducing pests and harmful organisms.
A team of experts
Advansee draws on a team of renowned experts with over 80 years of expertise in the study of flying insect pests and crop pests. We work with growers, research institutes, and agronomists to develop innovative solutions that reduce the need for pesticide treatments while preserving biodiversity and crop health.
Our History
Thierry Corbière grew up on his grandparents’ farm, where he developed a strong connection to nature, particularly to birds, which he considers his “childhood companions.” Later, after witnessing certain agricultural practices and discovering chemical waste in the natural environment, he became aware of the need to better protect biodiversity.
Convinced that this requires a better understanding of living organisms, he turned his attention to the study of insects and their interactions with plants. He then joined the Végépolys research cluster before co-founding the company Advansee with two other engineers in 2009. Initially specializing in applied electronics, the company gradually shifted its focus to solutions for agriculture and the environment.
Today, Advansee supports farmers in addressing a major challenge: maintaining yields while reducing the use of pesticides. Drawing on French expertise, the “Made in France” label, and a network of recognized partners such as Certis, Belchim, Innolea, and Alvie, the company develops innovative, customized tools that contribute to a more sustainable form of agriculture that respects biodiversity.
Innovative projects
2011
Among the initial projects is a prototype featuring a camera mounted on a vehicle to detect and track white lines, demonstrating Advansee’s ability to innovate in technology and use images as input data.
The Meeting and the Agriculturam Shift
2014
After the founder’s family became aware of the issue and his brother-in-law began using agricultural inputs, an idea was born: to use technology to understand what is happening in crops. Over time, Advansee made a strategic shift, moving from designing custom solutions to creating two major products: E-Gleek and Beecam, which address more specific needs in the agricultural markets.
Collaboration and Innovation
2016
In 2016, following this shift, Advansee partnered with Vegepolys, a key player in the agricultural sector; and with Sébastien Picaud of CTIFL, who helped design plots for the development of beneficial insects, thereby strengthening Advansee’s collaborative approach with stakeholders in agriculture, research, and innovation.
Launch of Beecam
2016
The first product, BEECAM, has been launched. It triggers alerts based on specific events and includes specialized software for plotting activity trends, which helps farmers make informed decisions.

Award of Excellence
2016
In 2016, BEECAM received an Award of Excellence at Sival, followed in 2017 by the Award of Excellence for E-gleek, further solidifying Advansee’s reputation in the field.

Industrialization and Growth
2022
Building on its market position and growth, Advansee recognized the need to scale up its operations. In 2021, Thierry met Hugues Bonnin and BRC, a strategic partner who eventually became the buyer, enabling Advansee to scale up its products and bring them to a wider market.

Agxis Canada Program
2026
ADVANSEE was selected from among more than 200 innovative companies as part of the AGXIS program, a major innovation initiative dedicated to the development of agricultural technologies in Quebec. This recognition confirms the effectiveness of its solutions in addressing the real needs of producers.

Sival, a key event
2026
This year, ADVANSEE attended the SIVAL trade show as a visitor. This must-attend event provided an opportunity to meet with research institutes and producers, discuss best practices, and discover the latest innovations. As always, SIVAL was a time rich in discussions and new discoveries.

Our partners
Advansee works closely with numerous partners—including research institutes, chambers of agriculture, companies specializing in biostimulants, cooperatives, and experimental stations—to develop innovative solutions tailored to the needs of the agricultural sector.

Adama
ADAMA is an international company specializing in crop protection, offering innovative solutions to optimize agricultural production while respecting the environment. It supports farmers with products and services tailored to their needs, combining scientific expertise with cutting-edge technologies.
For several years, Adama has been working closely with Advansee to conduct field trials, combining agronomic expertise with advanced monitoring technologies to improve crop management and pest control in an effective and sustainable manner.

BNIC
The BNIC (National Interprofessional Cognac Office) is the representative body for the entire Cognac industry, bringing together winegrowers, distillers, and merchants. Its mission is to promote, protect, and enhance the reputation of Cognac wines and eaux-de-vie, while supporting quality, traceability, and innovation within the industry.
To strengthen support for winegrowers and respond as quickly as possible to vine pests, the BNIC has been collaborating with Advansee since 2020. This collaboration has led, in particular, to the development of a trap designed for tall vines, enabling field teams to effectively monitor insect populations and make informed decisions to protect crops.

BIVB
The BIVB (Bureau Interprofessionnel des Vins de Bourgogne) is the official body representing all stakeholders in the Burgundy wine industry, from winemakers to wine merchants. Its primary mission is to promote and enhance the reputation of Burgundy wines, raise awareness of the appellations, and support product quality and marketing. The BIVB also plays a key role in research, innovation, and training to strengthen the sector’s competitiveness while preserving the region’s wine-growing and cultural heritage. For several years, teams from the BIVB and Advansee have been collaborating on various vineyards to implement a smart, practical, and effective monitoring system against vine pests.

Sileban
Sileban and its experimental station near Cherbourg are working, in particular, to improve the vegetable production chain across the entire region from Mont Saint-Michel to Le Tréport! Studies focus specifically on carrot and leek crops; E-gleek can conduct surveys on infestations by carrot flies, thrips, and whiteflies. Following the acquisition of Advansee, Alexandre, proud to be from Normandy, chose this client to gain hands-on experience with the product’s installation and to understand the field conditions before marketing it. This implementation, along with that of another trap in the Somme region in partnership with the Chamber of Agriculture, has helped optimize the traps’ ergonomics and functionality.
